His book, “Winning Government Business: The 6 Rules and 9 Absolutes,” serves as a comprehensive guide, a reflection of his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience acquired over nearly two decades. Tom meticulously dissects the maze that is government procurement, providing valuable insights to empower small and medium enterprises in successfully competing against industry giants for government contracts.

In 2019, Thomas Pollock established Gov Ready, a pivotal institution dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of Queensland businesses. Serving as a guiding light, Gov Ready offers essential support to businesses striving to fortify their positions, pursue lucrative government contracts, and win Government business.

Frank Dinneen, Small Business Procurement Advisor for 2032 Olympic Games, Queensland Government

Frank’s career has been focused on addressing social and economic issues, through roles within government, and with community businesses. His last role as Director of Procurement – General Goods and Services, in the Queensland Government, prioritised delivering quality jobs and value beyond price, through government procurement.

Frank has recently been appointed as the Small Business Procurement Advisor for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He is keen to build productive partnerships with diverse stakeholders, to ensure that public spending has a meaningful impact on communities across Queensland – before, during and after the Games.
