Q2032 Industry Advisory Group (IAG) held its first meeting in November 2023.
We are thrilled to have our CEO, Adele Laughton, join the esteemed group to represent Queensland’s social enterprise sector. The inaugural group was convened by the Brisbane 2032 Coordination Office and will play a pivotal role in guiding the implementation of the Q2032 Procurement Strategy, with a focus on prioritising Queensland businesses.
Eighteen industry bodies have a seat at the table providing advice on how the Q2032 Procurement Strategy should be implemented so that Queensland businesses are prioritised in the $180 billion of Queensland Government procurement that will flow over the next nine years.
